Overview

About SoftPhone Pro

SoftPhone Pro is a business softphone for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, including Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 on 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS. You register as many SIP or IAX2 accounts as you need, up to 64 at once, over UDP, TCP, TLS or WebSocket, and each account keeps its own codecs, transport, caller ID, ringtone and hold music.

Calls use HD codecs such as Opus and G.722, are encrypted with SRTP or DTLS-SRTP, and are cleaned up by on-device noise cancellation that works on your microphone and on noisy callers separately. You get blind and attended transfer, local conferencing, call park and pickup, a busy lamp field, voicemail badges, automatic recording by rule, and a musicbed that plays a track under your voice.

LAN Link connects your own devices on the same network. Pair them once with a six-digit code, then hand a live call from your desk to your phone, pull it back, make intercom calls, chat and drop files over an end-to-end encrypted link. Built-in diagnostics show MOS, jitter and packet loss for every call, a SIP ladder trace, and a network wizard that detects your NAT type and SIP ALG.

Ready-made templates cover Asterisk and FreePBX, 3CX, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, Telnyx, VoIP.ms and Vonage, and administrators can provision accounts with a link or a QR code. On Windows, macOS and Linux, a local automation API lets your CRM or helpdesk place calls and receive call events, and a browser extension turns phone numbers on web pages into click-to-call links.

Features

What it does

Run up to 64 SIP and IAX2 accounts at once, with encrypted calls, call recording, a live audio mixer and call handoff between your own devices.
  • Up to 64 accounts at once

Register SIP and IAX2 accounts side by side over UDP, TCP, TLS 1.3 or WebSocket, with automatic DNS SRV transport and failover to a backup server.

  • Encrypted calls

SRTP and DTLS-SRTP with a padlock on every call, TLS with certificate pinning, passwords in the OS keystore and optional AES-256 encryption of the local database.

  • Voice isolation

On-device noise cancellation cleans up your microphone and the incoming audio separately, alongside echo cancellation and a tunable jitter buffer.

  • Musicbed and live mixer

Loop an MP3 or WAV under your voice on every call, and balance microphone, speaker and music levels with live meters.

  • Recording by rule

Record all, incoming, outgoing or per-contact calls as WAV, stereo WAV or Ogg Opus, then search, play back and export them from the Recordings page.

  • LAN Link call handoff

Pair your devices once, then hand off or pull live calls, make intercom calls and send files over an end-to-end encrypted link.

  • Full call control

Blind and attended transfer, N-way conference, call park, group pickup, busy lamp field, and do-not-disturb and forwarding synced to your PBX.

  • Diagnostics built in

Live MOS, jitter and packet-loss charts, a SIP ladder trace viewer with .pcap export, and a network wizard for NAT and SIP ALG problems.

  • Automation API and click-to-dial

Control calls from your CRM over a local HTTP API, and call any phone number on a web page with the browser extension.

What do I get with the All apps license?
Installers for Windows, macOS, Linux (amd64 and arm64, including Raspberry Pi), Android and iOS, one license key that covers every platform, and all future updates. The Full source code tier adds the complete Flutter and C source, build scripts and native integrations.
Which systems are supported?
Windows 10 and 11 (x64), macOS 11 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel, Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+ and 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm, Android 7 or later, and iOS 15.5 or later. The iOS app is installed by sideloading and receives calls while it is running.
Will it work with my phone system?
If your PBX or provider speaks SIP or IAX2, yes. Templates are included for Asterisk and FreePBX, 3CX, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, Telnyx, VoIP.ms, Vonage and WebRTC gateways, and Generic SIP covers the rest. Video calls and ZRTP are not supported yet.
How do updates work?
Every new release appears on your order page and works with the same license key. There is nothing extra to pay for updates.
Can I use the source code in client projects?
Yes, with the Full source code tier. You can modify the code and use it in your own products and client work. The Source License page lists exactly what is and is not allowed.
What if I need help or it does not fit my setup?
